Insert foot into mouth...
After my last post, I decided to e-mail T
, basically just telling her how I felt about being cut out without even so much as a goodbye. It wasn't nasty or anything, but I made sure she knew I wasn't happy about it at all and that she should be more courteous next time she decided to start deleting supposed friends off her list. I didn't expect to hear back from her and I told her that too. Surprisingly though I did. As it turns out, her and her husband were having some serious marital problems because of swinging so they decided it was best to get rid of MSN and deleting everyone on their list. She felt really bad about deleting us and ignoring us but like I told her, her marriage comes first. They decided to take a break at least for the summer and then maybe see how things go after that. So, I'm glad that's all cleared up. I told her not to be a stranger and she said they wouldn't because they still owed us a hot cam show! ;) Plus we still owe them a dinner.
I'm not really all that surprised they had issues. They rushed into this whole thing a lot quicker than even we did and it seemed to be all about her...she even admitted that in her email to me. They're really nice people and I'd hate for them to screw up everything because of this. At least I know now that it wasn't because she hates us something. hah!
Next weekend is J
's bridal shower. I'm invited and I don't really want to go and I'm afraid I'm going to hurt her feelings saying so. Really though, we're so broke right now I can't afford to get her something nice anyway, I don't know any of her friends, they're all going to be 10 years older than me and they'll probably notice and then proceed to ask how I know her, etc. I'm so anti-social when it comes to things like this, I know I'll just be miserable going. Gah! I'm such a wuss.
